Postdoc 

Currently, the group has no openings for Postdoc but we are always very welcome to support talented scientist to apply the third funding source (e.g., UK Newton fellowship, EU Marie Curie) to explore exciting science, please contact Dr Yang for discussion. 

PhD Students for 2020

We currently have the following two PhD opening projects for 2021. 
  • Low cost paper-origami device for monitoring water quality​ -  Two fully funded UK/oversea PhD students
  • Paper-based sewage sensors for monitoring Covid-19
  • 2D nanomaterial for biosensing water contaminants
  • Nano-material based Raman spectrometry for ultra-sensitive detection of water
  • Nano electrochemical sensing

The group has a constantly recruit talented PhD candidate in the areas of sensors, paper-microfluidic device, molecular diagnosis, water quality, environmental health, analytical chemistry. Please contact Dr Yang for discussion.
